Digital Classroom Services 2nd Annual Showcase

April 28, 2015

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to let you know about an exciting upcoming event for classroom technology at Rutgers. On Wednesday, May 6 at 10 a.m. in Tillett Hall 253, Digital Classroom Services (DCS) will host their 2nd Annual Showcase. This event will highlight emerging technologies designed to enhance the classroom experience that DCS has piloted over the last year. It will also be an opportunity to see what tools DCS will pilot in the coming year.

During the first hour, DCS’s instructional technologists will demonstrate technologies that help instructors step out from behind the podium and better engage students, including ways to project wirelessly, control the podium remotely, poll students, and video conference. In the second hour, guests are invited to attend breakout sessions where they may try out these tools themselves and determine if they would like to use them in future courses. The showcase is a great way to learn about emerging technologies and determine if they are a good fit for your class.

This event is free and a continental breakfast will be provided. For more information and to register, please visit
